Hello Gorgeous Light!
For my USA neighbors, I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July weekend full of celebrating freedom!
Us humans, oh my stars do we love our freedom! Am I right??
And yet, what boggles my mind is I see so many people living in total bondage. This imprisonment I’m talking about is of the inward kind. So many are imprisoned to their minds and have souls full of suffering. Whether it’s the typical depression, anxiety, trauma, and so on that our society has fashioned as something we “manage” but can never be free from…. (*insert me rolling my eyes dramatically while scoffing*). I’m living proof this isn’t true. However more often than not, I see soooooo many prisoner to a super sneaky captor like burnout or apathy or waiting on change that seems to never come even with the passing seasons. A “one day” mentality that never seems to come.
I see so many people living life on empty, just getting through another day, hoping and wishing that something will change, but another day goes by, another week, month, and before you know it…. years have gone by, and that person is still being held captive! They go through the motions on empty, and barely really living…. just surviving.
And you know the worst part??? The majority have accepted through complacency that “this is just how adulthood is”. What a vicious captor that lie is!
There’s a misconception I think some people have who are new to my community, they think there has to be something really wrong to reach out. This is another lie holding them captive.
I work with many people who actually don’t even know why they’re reaching out except that there’s a whisper in their heart saying- it doesn’t have to be like this, what if there’s more to this life.
So whether you’re clear about a suffering you want to get out of, clear about a dream, or success, or prosperity goal you want to get to, or you just hear that whisper in your heart saying it’s time to start living, I’d love to hear from you.
