Hi beautiful light!
This week is significant with Passover and Easter!
Passover is the celebration of God freeing the Israelites from being slaves with Moses leading them out of Egypt and to freedom.
This is so significant because I feel like all year God has been speaking to me about freedom!
Even though God gave us freedom, we do this crazy thing as humans- we are constantly enslaving ourselves to the things of this world.
What have you allowed yourself to be a slave to? Hint, it’s whatever you’ve believed is bigger than God, you’ve put above God, distracts you from God, or causes fear.
Worry? Finances? Food? Lust? Anger? Trauma? Lack? Body image? Material possessions? Status? Need for approval from others? Romantic relationships? And so on….
If you read my last newsletter, you know that God has been speaking to me for about a year about the need for us to become free from being enslaved to fear, which I believe is the catalyst for much of our human bondage (and suffering!).
It’s also no coincidence that this week is the celebration of the last Earthly week of Jesus’s ministry before Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. The cross was a scary and dark place void of any hope and any light. And certainly not a place where any victories could be had. And yet through Jesus’s death, and then resurrection – He held the ultimate victory and He conquered all darkness. Where there once was terror now we rejoice and are blessed!
In these times it’s important to remember that God is in the business of transforming what once was dark into light and something for us to rejoice about!
I feel His heart so strongly right now as I write this and it breaks mine how many people don’t know God and His goodness. Or think they know God but haven’t sought intimacy with Him and haven’t encountered His presence yet. Or who maybe has, but turned away because of human error representing Him incorrectly through religious oppression, or didn’t know how to have a relationship with Him because of traumas or challenges in this world. Humans hurt humans… that’s not God.
Especially with the historical significance of this week, be so mindful of what you’re partnering with- are you coming into agreement with darkness via fear, discouragement, hopelessness, anger, or worry?
Or are you partnering with God’s glory? Are you choosing to come into agreement with hope, God’s supernatural peace that surpasses all human understanding, that God is more powerful than anything in this world, that God is for you and never against you, that God has great plans for your future- plans to prosper you, that God will use everything for good- even these times. That God is the God of miracles and the true supernatural power.
It’s totally normal to feel fear right now with everything going on, but I want to challenge you to be extraordinary instead of ordinary and bet on the winning team – God.
This week is profound…. it was darkest before the dawn…. but God holds the victory! He always has and He always will. Don’t fall prey to the disillusionment of fear, stay strong in Truth! Fear is the ultimate liar. (And yes you can still be responsible without being in fear.)
I encourage you to spend time with God during this historically life changing week, the most life changing week in history.
Here’s a prayer to get you started in your pursuit of intimacy and transformation with God right now.

Pray this out loud:
Dear God, please take me into Your presence now.
Thank you that your perfect love casts out all fear. I pray your supernatural peace come upon me that surpasses all my understanding.
Pause and breathe and wait on God. Repeat above if you feel called to.
I choose to come out of agreement with fear and the lies of fear. And I choose to come into agreement with Your Truth. You are greater than anything in this world. You are for me and never against me. You have plans to prosper me and give me a future and hope. You use everything for good.
God please search my heart and show me where I’ve knowingly or unknowingly come into agreement with fear and darkness.
Now get REAL with God…. speak out loud and hand to God everything you’re afraid of. Everything you’ve falsely placed as more powerful than God. Ask God to search your heart for anything you need to give over to God. You may be surprised by what He highlights!
God I invite you into these places of my soul and ask for your supernatural transformation and renewal of my mind.
Thank you God for being here for me. Thank you that You never change and You are always for me and never against me. Forgive me for all the times I put anything in this world above You. Thank you God.
I love you.
